Basic Training is the workout that is bundled with the TRX suspension trainer when you buy it. It contains a video on the setup and use of the TRX as well as a 38 minute introductory workout.
The 38 minute workout shows three levels of progression so you can modify to your level. You do each move for approx 30 seconds and then rest. For some moves, you repeat the move again for 30 seconds by doing a slightly harder variation. The workout ends with core work and a few stretches using the TRX. For each move, they take a few seconds to demonstrate the progressions and variations and provide form pointers and tips. You do squats, sprinter starts, hamstring curls, rows, chest presses, shoulder moves and core moves.
This workout was my first time using the TRX suspension trainer and I really liked using it a lot. The Basic Training workout is a good introduction to the TRX and you can definitely grow with it - I cannot do the planks or crunches yet but it is something to work towards. The TRX does take a little getting used to but I love that you can feel the muscles being worked and you have to work to stay stabilize yourself.
