The Pound Rockout Workout is a unique and exhilarating total-body dynamic resistance and cardio workout that centers on drumming. This is not the usual drumming though. For a start, you won’t be sitting.
Rather, you will be standing, moving around, and squatting, as you hit Ripstix®, which are lightly weighted sticks specially made for the workout. And instead of hitting a drum skin, you will be banging the sticks together to your right or left, straight ahead, overhead, or squatting and hitting them on the ground in front of you in moves that are yoga and Pilates-inspired.
Pound Rockout Workouts are noisy, fun, and very challenging. Some moves target the upper body, some the lower body, and others the core. All deliver cardio benefits. Workouts burn a lot of calories, and they can be adapted to suit people of any age and fitness level.

Focusing on the music, the rhythm, and the noise of your sticks hitting the ground will help you get through it.
Tune Up targets the entire upper body with a particular emphasis on the upper back and triceps. Surprisingly, the added weight of the Ripstix® doesn’t make the workout difficult, but you can expect your muscles to feel a bit sore the next day.
