Produced by Kitaro, TAMAYURA is a unique combination of Kitaro's signature sound married to visuals performed by Koichi Tamano and the Harupin-Ha Butoh Dance Theater who bring the characters of the story to life. With costumes by Heather Hanse and choreography by Koichi Tamano, TAMAYURA features wildly colorful scenes and surreal, almost magical dance routines.
In TAMAYURA, Kitaro takes his audience into life in a microscopic world and gives them a "peep" at what the lives of these characters are like. Needless to say, in the "micro" world, very unusual circumstances and situations occur. It's a beautiful world where children in bubbles play and interact with the Fairy of the Waterlily. The tracks include, Magma, Mercury, Sitara, Nageki, Beam Wave and Uranus.
Through his look into this previously unseen world, Kitaro wants to demonstrate the differences between our universe and the lives of those who exist in this microscopic place. Kitaro notes, "Through this event, I hope that we all are awaken in a manner which will help us to realize something individually personal and take from this event something that makes us feel different."
