Kennis Marquis was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. where he attended St Louis University. He first joined a hip hop dance group in 1993 called “Total Control”. Kennis' group soon won every talent show in the city, landing the dancer a gig with his first major artist MC Hammer. Three years later Kennis decided to take his career to the next level. He packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles where he eventually danced and choreographed with artists such as BlackStreet, R Kelly, and Snoop Dogg. In 2003 Kennis assisted choreographer Laurie ann Gibson with the feature film Honey. Kennis then took his choreography head on, working with artists such as Ludacris, LL Cool J, Juelz Santana, and Yin Yang Twins. Recently, Kennis finished working on the 2007 P Diddy tour. His dance classes are high engery, powerful dance style and guaranteed to give you a good workout.
