Kevin Maher was born and raised in West Covina, California. At the age of 19 he graduated from Don Bosco Technical Institute , where he studied Architecture and Design. Kevin then moved to NYC to further his education and pursue his dream of dance. He soon began training with “Culture Shock N.Y”, “La Santa Luz”, “Rhapsody The Company” and on scholarship at “Broadway Dance Center.”
Kevin landed his first professional dancing job with Fatboy Slim and Michael Rooney on the MTV Video Music Awards. Since then he has appeared on numerous television shows including the Grammy’s, American Music Awards, MTV’s TRL & VMA’s, BET’s 106TH & Park, ABC’s Good Morning America , Regis & Kelly and SNL. Kevin's national commercials include Dr. Pepper and Rockawear commercials as well the feature films “You Got Served”, “Bring It On" and All or Nothing”. Kevin has also appeared with such artist as Missy Elliot, Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, Busta Rhymes, Cyndi Lauper, Eve, Anastasia, Mya, George Michael, Alicia Keys, Nelly & many others.
Some of Kevin’s recent projects include Kelis' and George Michael's music video, Basement Jaxx, and The Mariah Carey World Tour. Kevin’s style is definately one to keep you coming back for more.
