CHOREOGRAPHER - JAYSON WRIGHT
Originally from Dallas, Jayson was inspired by the culture of Hip-Hop surrounding him at an early age. The excitement of breaking, popping, and locking, drew him in and soon became a big part of his dancing essence. Whether in competitions, talent shows, malls, night-clubs, sidewalks or street corners, Jayson became consumed by his passion to dance. He soon caught the eye of local singers who called on him not only for his talent as a dancer, but also for his unique brand of choreograph. He performed non-stop in everything from theme parks, to music videos and commercials, and soon became the opening act for headliners Jay Z, Monica, LL Cool J, Dru Hill, Tyrese, and K-Ci and Jo Jo among others. Having established himself locally, Jayson's next move was to L.A. in '99. He quickly began work as a dancer and choreographer with some of the biggest names in entertainment including Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Pink, Marques Houston, Blink 182, Donell Jones, and Tweet. Jayson has appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards, Nickelodeon's Teen Choice Awards, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and on the NBC series American Dreams. His talent can be seen in commercials for Sony, Sprite, Coors Light, and Bacardi, as well as collaborations with famed music-video/feature film directors David LaChapell and Chris Robinson. Jayson is most proud to add instructor to his growing list of accomplishments.
